Special meals
Our delicious special meals can be booked free of charge up to 48 hours before departure via Your booking, the Discover Airlines Service Center,or directly at your travel agency. The service is available to all passengers on all intercontinental flights and to Business Class passengers on all short and medium-range flights. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are available on board and do not need to be booked in advance.
The following special meals are available:
- Vegan: No meat or fish products, no dairy products or eggs, prepared without alcohol
- Gluten-free: Prepared with no ingredients containing gluten
- Lactose-free: Prepared with no ingredients containing lactose
- Kosher: Food prepared in a strictly kosher manner under the supervision of a rabbinical authority (not available on flights from Halifax, Anchorage, Punta Cana, La Romana, Windhoek, Victoria Falls, Mombasa, Zanzibar, Kilimanjaro and Mauritius to Frankfurt)
- Children’s menus: Delicious children's menus for our young passengers
Additional special meals on Canada flights with Discover Airlines:
On flights to and from Canada, there are two additional special meals to choose from: Asian vegetarian (Indian) meals and Muslim meals. These special meals are only offered on these routes.
