EW Discover GmbH processes your personal data on the Discover Airlines Facebook page by the following means:

• When you interact with the Discover Airlines Facebook page, your public profile information (including the display name)
• When you interact with the Discover Airlines Facebook page by
  
  • sharing a post and stating your personal data in it
  • When you provide your personal data via the comment function under posts
  • When you contact EW Discover GmbH via Messenger and provide your personal data
• When you interact with the Discover Airlines Facebook page, Facebook processes insights data (statistical data on page use) from you. For more information on the processing of insights data when interacting with the Discover Airlines Facebook page, please refer to:

In order to efficiently process the messages from Facebook users, these, as well as the master data of the associated profile, are also processed outside the Discover Airlines Facebook page in systems for which EW Discover GmbH is responsible. The processing of your personal data is carried out on the following legal basis:

EW Discover GmbH processes your personal data for the purpose of fulfilling contracts that EW Discover GmbH has concluded with you or for implementing pre-contractual measures. You can provide EW Discover GmbH with our personal data if

• you have questions about the services and offers of EW Discover GmbH
• you would like to lodge a complaint about a service of EW Discover GmbH
• you would like to receive information about your application to EW Discover GmbH or about your application status

Your data may be passed on internally to process your request.
The number and category of processed data depends on what you provide to EW Discover GmbH. In order to be able to process your request, EW Discover GmbH may require additional data from you. In such a case, EW Discover GmbH will ask you for further data and information required to process your request. As a rule, these details will be processed:

• First name
• Last name
• Form of address/Gender
• Personal information that you share with us as part of your inquiry/message

EW Discover GmbH also processes your personal data to protect its legitimate interests. The purpose of the processing is as follows:

• Evaluation of analyses and statistics for the Facebook page with regard to the interactions of its users
• Optimization of the Facebook page in terms of its user-friendliness and attractiveness as well as introduction of user-friendly marketing measures
• Other communication and interaction initiated by Facebook users

Your personal data will be deleted by EW Discover GmbH on the systems belonging to EW Discover GmbH as soon as it is no longer required for the stated purposes. However, EW Discover GmbH may need to continue to store your data until the expiry of the retention obligations and periods issued by the legislature or supervisory authorities, which may arise from the Commercial Code, the Tax Code and the Money Laundering Act and generally amount to six to ten years. In addition, EW Discover GmbH may keep your data until the expiry of the statutory limitation periods, insofar as this is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims. After that, the relevant data will be routinely deleted.
