The travel times for your train journey listed on your flight itinerary are not considered valid rail connections. You are free to choose your connection – find the right train connections for you on the Deutsche Bahn website.
When you book via Lufthansa.com
After you book your Discover Airlines flight online on Lufthansa.com, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a link to your train ticket. Please print the train ticket and carry it with you on the train, as well as the form of identification used.
When booking at a travel agency or via the Discover Airlines Service Center
You can get your Rail&Fly ticket via Rail Check-in. Enter your first and last name, as well as your e-ticket number or booking code. You can then choose an appropriate train connection – however, the ticket can still be used flexibly on the selected day and route without being used on the specified train.
You can also use the Rail&Fly offer as a family. Please note that one single Rail&Fly online ticket will be issued for all travelers. Young passengers can enjoy the Deutsche Bahn entertainment program on board.
For joint bookings for several travelers, only one Rail&Fly online ticket is generated. In this case, all passengers need to use the same train connection.
You can check in for your Discover Airlines flight on your PC or via your smartphone from 23 hours before departure. You will carry your luggage on the train yourself and drop it off at one of the Discover Airlines baggage drop-off counters at the airport.
In order to guarantee the best possible care, please let us know what you need right at the time of booking. If you travel in a wheelchair, you will be accompanied by a DB Information Department employee from 30 minutes before the train departs up until you are seated in the train. Upon arrival, service employees will take you to your departure gate.
Please note: It is unfortunately not possible to travel Rail&Fly if you require a medical escort or need to be transported lying down.

Cross-border connections are not currently available. If you would like to travel to Frankfurt by train from another European country, please book via Deutsche Bahn or the relevant national transportation companies.
