Did you know...?

The A330-200’s fuel tank has a 139,090 liter capacity. To refuel it at a normal gas station, it would take 72 hours or 3 days. At the airport, refueling only takes 30 to 45 minutes.

When it came into service, the A330/A340 was the first wide-body aircraft with fly-by-wire technology. Instead of using cables and levers to transfer steering commands to the rudders and steering controls, they are transmitted entirely digitally by an onboard computer controlled with a sidestick.

A full tank of fuel/kerosene weighs as much as 18 elephants and at a height of 17.39 m, the A330-200 is about as high as 4 London double-decker buses.

Dining with a view! A retractable dining table in the cockpit of the A330 means that our pilots can enjoy the delicious food on board whilst still taking in the breathtaking views.
