Passengers with sensory impairments

Discover Airlines provides assistance to passengers with hearing, visual and cognitive impairments before, during and after the flight. Please notify us of any assistance required before your flight, either by telephone via the Discover Airlines Service Center at +49 (0) 69 86 798 200 from Monday to Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., or online:

To ensure that you receive the best possible assistance, please inform us of your assistance needs up to 48 hours before departure.

Assistance dogs

Registered assistance dogs can be carried in the cabin free of charge on all Discover Airlines routes under certain conditions.

Accompanying people

Please note that an accompanying person is required in the following cases:

  • if the passenger is unable to assist with their own evacuation.
  • if the passenger is unable to communicate with the flight attendants regarding safety instructions.
  • if the passenger cannot understand/follow safety instructions.

The crew is not able to provide the following assistance:

  • Providing toileting assistance to passengers.
  • Lifting or carrying passengers.
  • Assisting passengers with eating meals.
  • Administering medication or supervising the taking of medication.
